Saturday's format was a 4-ball texas scramble with 10 teams entering the event on a sunny but very windy morning. In first with a nett 56.5 is the team of Mike Mullin, Mitch Cracroft, Chris Baker and Jake Dade. Finishing second is the team of Steve Barker, Nigel Ellis, Mark Elvins and Mark Jenkins with a nett 57.7. Finally in third is the team of Simon Prior, Gordy Wheelaghan, Martin Kennelly and Brian Read who closed with birdies on 17 and 18 to finish with a nett 58.1.

The seniors section held their April medal event on Thursday and once again mother nature played a big part. The players battled cooler temperatures, strong winds and light rain throughout the morning. Scoring was tight at the top with the three best scores separated by just a shot each. Nigel Ellis fired a nett 68 to take 1st place. Graham Exton at nett 69 finishes 2nd and Mike Hurman's nett 70 is good enough for 3rd. Mark Elvins nett 72 ties for 4th but his birdie on the 11

The seniors roll up on Tuesday ended up being played as a singles medal due to lower participation and odd numbered groups. Mike Allen and Roger Hurrell battled in the same group to a score of nett 68. Both players were tied on a back 9, 6, 3 and 1 countback. Unsure how to settle the tie, we elected to use the Canadian format of "retrogression". This takes the two players net scores counting back from the 18th hole to the 1st.
